Nineteenth Annual Summer School–The Southern Tradition

Topic: Join us for critical reflections on what is true and valuable in the Southern tradition. Discover things you did not know and gain a deeper grasp about things you did know. Place: Camp St. Christopher, Seabrook Island, South  Carolina. The site is set in a beautiful Palmetto Grove beside the Beach.

Cost and Inquiries. Meals, continuous refreshments, and tuition are included in the cost. A single is  $940. A double (two beds), is $1,348. Scholarships are available to college and graduate students and high school seniors, who are encouraged to apply. Inquiries should be addressed to [email protected] or 843-323-0690.

Arrange your plans to arrive in time for conviviality and orientation July 5 at 5 pm. Supper is at 6 pm. Rooms are open at 3 pm. We leave on Friday after lunch which is from 12 to 1 pm. There are three talks before lunch. The conference site is about a 40 minute drive from the airport.
