I AM THE SOUTH
(After Padraig Pearse, Mise Eire)

I am the South:
I am older than Helena’s dead.

Great my glory:
I that bore Jackson and Lee.

Great now my shame:
My children that bartered a mother.

Great now my sorrow:
My true sons betrayed.

I am the South:
I am lonelier than Helena’s dead.

The pill wrecked us…poisoning our women was never worth “prosperity”.

    • Leslie Alexander says:

I’m stunned that you said this and completely agree. women have never been more subjugated than when they began sterilizing themselves and losing their femaleness and femininity. this evil has done so much harm to women, men, and the family.

  • Valerie Protopapas says:

The pill had nothing to do with prosperity or helping/advancing women. Just as the LGBTQ+ and the “trans” movement, it is all about destroying the family, the foundation of civilization and so it is all about destroying civilization. It goes hand and hand with destroying The Church and all things that are good and holy. It is demonic and evil. No good, certainly no LASTING good ever comes of it. And it is now so “in your face” that attempts to stop it leads to incarceration and death. All that we really have left is prayer, even prayer, yes, for the “Yankee” for he, too, is a human being and hated by Satan and his minions. And remember, there is no friend better than a converted enemy.

Thank you for a delightful change of venue!

  • Joyce says:

Poor Mother South abandoned like many dear elderly mothers are today by their families, warehoused in nursing “centers.” Southern families used to take care of all generations,
