From Under the Rubble: The Wearin’ of the Cross

In simpler times when our world was young, we used to sing, “It’s a Barnum and Bailey world/Just as phony as it can be.” Now we might just as well call it an Obama and Osama world: It’s still phony but a lot more dangerous than circus lions.

A Palestinian Muslim named–what else?–Muhammad kills five military men. The cry goes up: Why did this happen? What made him do it? His family– described by people who know them as a “typical American family”–say this is not the son they knew but the victim of depression, and ABC News makes headlines with revelations about his use of drugs.

Many people get depressed or take drugs, but most of them do not set out to murder uniformed members of the US armed forces. Muhammad was making a clear and ringing statement. This product of a typical American Muslim family hates the country that welcomed and sheltered them. American Christians are evil. How does he know? The Koran tells him so.

As Srdja Trifkovic and others have shown beyond a shadow of a doubt, Islam is a religion of war, violence, and oppression. The only function of non-Muslims in their world is to pay taxes and endure oppression. For them, we are dhimmi. Under their rule, in good times, we can function, sort of, as protected third class subjects, but during a crisis they go on a rampage: Consider only what Turks and Kurds did to Jews and Christian Armenians and Greeks after WWI. They still won’t admit it, because they remain proud of what they did.

Anyone who gets his history from anywhere but state-controlled textbooks and media knows all this. Even the President of the United States, as ignorant and clueless as he seems to be, must have run into an advisor who has given him a few hints. What does it tell us, when we learn that under the Obama administration 400 thousand other potential Muhammads are arriving legally into the United States every year? Will this news cause the President suddenly to sober up? Not hardly. He is getting the country he wants, a place where his Islamic friends and relations can be considered typical. After all, he told us that Muslims had been with us since the beginning of America!

What is the Republican response? Too little too late. Illegal immigration was just as high, in fact higher, under George W. Bush, and no one in the GOP (with the exception of Donald Trump) is willing to be called a bigot. Better to let the country collapse than to be attacked by the enemies of everything the GOP claims to hold dear. Better a jihadist reign of terror than a stable America in which traditions were preserved and cultural and religious symbols were honored.

Muslims, I assure you, are not the problem per se. Muslims are infinitely better human beings than Democrats and Republicans. Good Muslims live by a moral code superior to their own urges, and they have the discipline to maintain religious customs that stink in the nostrils of American secularist liberals who fondly imagine that they can corrupt and degrade the followers of Mohammed as easily as they have corrupted and degraded the followers of Christ. I hope I do not live long enough to see their comeuppance, because we shall all be involved in the catastrophe.

Importing militant Islam into the United States is not an end in itself but a means to subjugate the American people by creating chaos and instilling fear. This regime throws around the term terrorism rather cavalierly. Terror has been, historically, an instrument of ruling regimes. The French and Russian Revolutions, Nazi Germany and Maoist China all used terrorism to intimidate their subjects. Our own regime has refined on their methods: Import dangerous people from Latin America and the Islamic world, fill their heads with nonsense about rights, and convince Americans that chaos and fear are normal, and they will surrender all that is left of their liberties to this new KKK–the KuKoranKlan. When people in Chattanooga can describe a Muslim household, whose father beats his wife and demands a second one, as “a typical American family,” they have almost reached their goal.

The secret is out. The American ruling class in both political parties despise the people they rule. They hate their religion, their traditions, their culture, and their history. This month they are tearing down Confederate flags and demanding the desecration of the graves of Confederate officers. The cross is already banned in tax-supported public buildings and the Bible removed from schools.

Muslim women can wear the hijab even when it means concealing their identity from legal authorities; Nikki Haley can tear down the Confederate flag, while her Sikh relatives can claim the right to carry daggers in their turbans, but there are schools that do not permit students to wear the cross or display a Bible.

This is cultural genocide on a grand scale, the treatment that in previous centuries was meted out only to subjugated nations. This was the fate of the defeated Highland Scots, and it was the fate of the Irish after the failed uprising of 1798.

O Paddy dear, and did ye hear the news that’s goin’ round?

The shamrock is by law forbid to grow on Irish ground!

No more Saint Patrick’s Day we’ll keep, his color can’t be seen

For there’s a cruel law ag’in the Wearin’ o’ the Green.”

I met with Napper Tandy, and he took me by the hand

And he said, “How’s poor old Ireland, and how does she stand?”

“She’s the most distressful country that ever yet was seen

For they’re hanging men and women there

for the Wearin’ o’ the Green.”

“So if the color we must wear be England’s cruel red

Let it remind us of the blood that Irishmen have shed

And pull the shamrock from your hat, and throw it on the sod

But never fear, ’twill take root there,

though underfoot ’tis trod.

When laws can stop the blades of grass from growin’ as they grow

And when the leaves in summer-time their color dare not show

Then I will change the color too I wear in my caubeen

But till that day, please God,

I’ll stick to the Wearin’ o’ the Green.

Dion Boucicault, the author of the lyrics, originally recommended emigration to America, and he took his own advice. Where, now, would anyone go in order to escape cultural genocide?
